I believe
I believe that people have different views. Everyone is different. My experiences in life might be similar but they are not the same as any other person. Lately, my sister and I rarely get alone because her point of view is very different than mine. I really let it go sometimes, however, she starts opening up the same issue over and over and I just cannot help myself but being honest to her about how I think. I believe we should respect other people’s views and value their perspective.
For me, the most valuable people in my life are my family members and my best friends. However, one of my best friends is my sister, Suzan. Suzan is only older than me by a year. We don’t get along most of the time but we are there for each other at all times. She tells me her stories. I tell her my stories. The only thing that I really cannot share with her is my point of view. Although she is unarguable, I do understand why she would act that way in most of the time. My sister was not always like that. Life experiences had changed her just like they change me as well. On the other hand, I believe she needs time to realize that not everyone can follow her vision for life. I believe hard work pays off. I believe that I should only look into what I have and have ambitious to do more. Unlike my sister, she believes some people should not have what they have and it is not fair for others. Well, I can not agree with that.
We all have different experiences in life that teaches us different values. Here we are, two people from the same family, raised in the same way but have different characters and perspectives. I am more goals oriented towards myself.

WEEK 1
Write about your best friend
Fifteen years ago I met my best friend from childhood, Jealerie. From Head Start our
friendships has been strong to this day. We are neighbors, best friend, and life made us sisters.
She is very special to me, and I know that I am also for her. We studied together for life. We
parted in eleventh grade, but still we did not move away. She has always been present in my
birthday and all success and happy moments for me. She has been with me during the worst
times. She has been with me through heartbreaks and family lost. I can’t be angry with her
because my spirits fall to the ground. We tell the truth to each others face even if it hurts and
without getting angry. We advise and support each other. I miss her so much as she is studying in
Aguadilla and for that reason she are staying there, I faithfully visit her every weekend. I
honestly don’t know what I would do without her. I thank God for giving me the privilege of
having the best friend in the world.
