Project Management department.
Construction Engineer Duties and Responsibility:
 Manage and plan construction activities through experience,
knowledge.
 Proactively identify potential problems in the field, develop alternatives and
arrive at optimum solution, means to mitigate problems.
 Obtain the resources required for construction and check/influence the
sequence and frequency of material/equipment shipment, expedite if
needed also supports field procurement.
 Supervise field construction EPC and subcontractors, helps in planning and
execution of construction work in the field, system turnover and
commissioning.
 Review/interpret engineering drawings, specifications and other design
documents; understand project design basis and contractual requirements.
 Assist Construction Manager and engineering at site in preparation of
daily/weekly reports, gathering data, obtaining drawings/deliverables from
vendors.
 Finding critical points of construction stages and emphasize to execute it
smoothly and in time. Monitoring of critical path progress keenly.
 Other than electrical handled responsibilities related civil, steel structure,
equipment and instrumentation.
 Coordinate the permits and approvals with RC, MARAFIQ, STC, SEC and
other affiliates.
 Electrical Equipment’s handled- Transformer 230 KV/34.5 KV, 266MVA;
230KV Cables; 230KV GIS; 34.KV Switchgears, transformers, MCC, Cables,
Motors; Low voltage system; UPS, Battery charger; VSD; Capacitor Banks;
Panels and Field installations.
QA/QC Engineer Duties and Responsibility:
 Prepare and review on QA/QC documents such as: ITP’S, check list, Method
Statements, FAT reports, Testing Procedures, Test Forms.
 All the inspections and energisation related to lighting systems, PA & Paging
system, Fire Alarm system, Grounding System and data and communication
systems.
