Here's a quick tutorial on the many new features of the new Museum Association of Arizona (MAA) website -- www.azmuseums.org

3. Keep scrolling down to finish the page

4. Click to create content. When you are logged in, you have more content creation options, and, if you are a member, your content will be published more quickly if you are logged in when you post.

6. Add images here. Choose “File browser” then upload. Formatting options similar to Word or Email.

7. Need to attach something? (Event flier, register form etc.?) Expand this input area, and attach away! Input the address here. Visitors can search by zip, city, even address! Mapping coming soon. Is this event for the general public (exhibit opening), or for museum professionals (workshop on archival techniques)? Help us get your information to the proper audience. Then preview/save and you’re done!

8. View events as list or Calendar. Both can be filtered by city.

9. Museum Marketplace / Job Postings Work basically the same as posting events Museum Marketplace items visable ONLY to logged-in Members Menu “Block” for those logged in Full page view

10. RSS Feed? Would you like to subscribe to certain content types? In addition to the front page, you can subscribe to the RSS Feed for Jobs, Events, Museum Marketplace items, etc. by clicking the RSS icon in your address bar. (How this looks depends on your browser)

11. Membership Become a new member, or renew online. (You still have the option of printing the form and mailing it in with a check.)

12. Fill in the form – just keep moving down the page. You’ll enter payment information on the next page.

13. Help us out by filling in the (optional) Member Data fields. For Institutional Members, this will appear on (and assists searches of) the Museum Directory. (We’ll be reconfiguring it so it looks prettier soon!)

14. If you have an account, you CAN login. You don’t need an account, however, and can still pay by credit card by clicking “Continue”

15. With an account/login, you can see your own (or your organization’s*) membership and event information. (Visit “My Contact Dashboard,” http://www.azmuseums.org/civicrm/user?reset=1

16. You can also easily view your own content – which you can edit or delete if you want/need to.
