Muscle tissue and nervous tissue are two specialized types of tissues found in the human body. Muscle tissue contains bundles of fibers that contract to cause movement, while nervous tissue contains neurons that transmit signals to control bodily functions and coordinate activity. Together, muscle and nervous tissues work in tandem to allow humans to move and respond to their environment.
