Nigeria has taken initiatives to control illicit drug trafficking through policies. Law enforcement has achieved success in controlling drug trafficking and use. The NDLEA is now focusing on solutions like youth education, treatment for addicts, maintaining policies, controlling pharmaceutical companies, media campaigns, and supporting UN treaties.
