This document presents a synthesis and characterization of manganese sulphide thin films for supercapacitor applications. It summarizes that manganese sulphide films were deposited via an electrodeposition method using manganese acetate and thiourea in an aqueous solution. The films were characterized using XRD, cyclic voltammetry, and galvanostatic charge/discharge. XRD confirmed the cubic structure of manganese sulphide. Electrochemical characterization showed a specific capacitance of 768 F/g from cyclic voltammetry and 116 F/g from galvanostatic charge/discharge, indicating the films have supercapacitive properties. The document concludes manganese sulphide has been successfully prepared and shows potential for super
