Malcolm Read is retiring from JISC, an organization in the UK that promotes digital services and infrastructure for education. Several leaders in education and technology organizations from the UK, Netherlands, Denmark, and US praise Malcolm for his visionary leadership of JISC over many years, and for the groundbreaking innovations and reliable services he helped deliver. They credit Malcolm with establishing JISC's high reputation, taking risks to drive innovation, and shaping the global IT infrastructure to support education.
