iSumsoft Cloner Review
You need to run this program on the source Windows 10
computer. It can be a physical machine or a virtual machine. You
can think of this program as the clone creator. Before you begin
the following steps, make sure that another hard drive is
connected or installed on your computer.
The process includes five steps:
1. Download and install iSumsoft Cloner
2. Choose which method you want to move (copy or backup)
3. Source selection (system-installed drive)
4. Target selection (external hard drive)
5. Start the migration.
1] Migration from computer to external hard drive
4. Launch the application and select the "Copy" option and select
the system drive as the source drive.
Then, insert a new hard drive and select it as the destination
drive.
6. Once you reach a screen that displays the following—note that
this operation will format the destination partition, are you sure
you want to copy the data, click OK to start copying and
prepare to transfer?
When you see a message says that the migration is complete.
You can set the target drive as the system drive. To do this,
restart your PC and then boot into the Startup menu.
2] Hard disk to computer migration
The process is slightly different, but we chose to restore from an
external hard drive containing the Windows installation folder
instead of the external hard drive. The software will detect the
operating system installed on the drive. It performs the same
steps, but with different sources. This option is useful when you
are upgrading your computer to a new computer.
7. 3] Transfer via storage medium
This is another common situation where the target computer
fails to start or you cannot use Windows. Except this time, you
need to make a bootable USB drive first, most steps remain the
same.
• Download this Cloner application and install it on a working
Windows PC, which you can borrow from friends or others.
• Plug the USB drive into the PC and select the "Make Boot
Disk" button.
8. • When the "Select vim file" dialog opens, select the
"Download" option to download the WinPE file.
• Then in the "Device Options" dialog, select your USB flash drive
and click "Make".
9. • After PE is successfullymade, you can unplugthe USB drive and
insert it into the PC where you want to migrate the system drive or
make a full backup of it.
• Start your computer from the startup disk.
Shut down the computer, then turn it on again, and then enter the
"Boot Menu" or BIOS / UEFI settings to change the boot order so
that the computer boots from a USB drive (WinPE boot disk).
10. • Migrate the Windows operatingsystem partition.
After successfullybooting your computer from the startup disk,
iSumsoft Cloner will be displayed on your computer screen and then
you can copy, backup or restore your Windows system or partition.

To restore a backup, you need to select a restore option on the target
computer. Select the partition or disk where the backup file is stored,
select the destination partition, and start importing it on the
computer.
A worthy try!
