Motivating the Organisation
1. MOTIVATING THE
ORGANISATION
Inspiring "Heart Work". Creating an "Employeeship culture".
Mobilising everyone's energy to win.
Contentment
Encourage co-workers to talk about their short-term and
long-term goals and what they are doing to accomplish them.
Help colleagues receive tasks that challenge them to develop
further, perform at their best, and to "bring their hearts to work".
Help promote the approach in your team that work is based
on the hope of success rather than the fear of failure.
Furthermore, try to deploy optimistic people in key positions
and prevent pessimistic people from working together.
Help create a positive atmosphere at work: celebrate good
team performance and the completion of projects.
Try to have fun together as a team. Help promote social
get-togethers at work and outside the workplace.
We distinguish three basic components of self-motivation:
Optimism, Achievement drive and Contentment.
Here are some suggestions for improving organisational
self-motivation - in general and on the level of the team.
