Brief description:
What do you see? At first you see iron man in bold colours to stand out and then you see him bring across an
interactive menu for navigation and you also see certain clips of the film faded behind him
flying around
Techniques used:
Animation, Visual Effects, Colour Rendering, There are clearly visual effects because iron man is in a much stronger colour and the menu
Graphics, Movement that he brings out is an effect. Also the animation is quite detailed because all of it is animated.
Advanced techniques:
Blur, Sharpen, Distortion, Rotation, Opacity The technique is sharpen because iron man stands out to everything that is on the screen and
the menu is bold to.
The opacity is within the videos flying around the stage iron man is on , you can clearley see

Technical comments:
Video Format, Screen Ratio, Resolution,
Frame rate, Compression The video format is what you standard you watch the programme on for example, there are 3
main type of settings HD, PAL, NTSC. HD, HD is the most preferred one because it has the
highest definition hence (HD), the screen ratio is set out like this 16:4 this means for every 16
units wide its 4 units tall. Resolution is a lot similar to the video format only it depends on the
standard of the image , by looking at the iron man DVD menu you can clearly see its suppose
to be in HD.Also within the iron man video wee see a clear Frame rate but I’m not sure is to
what it is.To reduce the file size of of this video it would mean it being a loss of image quality
just because you have made it smaller.

Screen ratio – Standard TV ratio is 4:3; this means that for every 4 units wide it is 3 units high. It is likely that the screen ratio will be
Widescreen (16:9) in a cinematic sequence.
Resolution – The amount of detail in an image or signal, such as Standard TV Definition and High Definition. See Video Format.
Frame Rate - The number of video or film frames displayed each second (frames per second; fps). PAL frame (standard UK TV) is 25
fps, NTSC (standard US TV) is 30 fps, film is 24 fps. This means as NTSC updates more regularly there is less strobing
(jerkiness).
Compression – The use of Codecs (WMV, DivX) to reduce the file size of a video by a variety of methods. This sometimes means a loss in
image quality (a “lossy”). Codecs are found in Video Cameras, DVD players / recorders, Editing Packages, Video upload
sites)
