2. Fire is probably the first discovery of
history, it was in the Stone Age. Apparently a
caveman smart managed to conquer the
power of fire and transmit this knowledge to
their peers. The fire was vital for human
development as our ancestors provided light
and heat, were given the opportunity to
cook their food and shelter from predators
that threatened.

Certainly the language is one of the most important discoveries of mankind. It
is this media that allowed the individuals of the tribes cooperate to perform
the work and imposed on hostile environmental conditions.

4. ELECTRICIDAD
Without electricity we would still be in the dark. Modern society and their
lifestyles are based absolutely on this important discovery, made by
Benjamin Franklin. We can not imagine a world without
computers, televisions, radios, microwaves, etc. All scientific advances after
electricity was discovered it needed to occur.

5. PENICILLIN
Penicillin is one of the most important discoveries for humans as it prevents
the attack of a large number of germs. Being an organic substance can be
applied to our body to fight infections that threaten it. Since being
discovered by Alexander Fleming this antibiotic has saved many lives across
the globe. It is a drug that not only treats illness, but also prevents and kills
germs that cause.

6. WHEEL
No one knows exactly when and where they invented the wheel, but we
do know that is a very important discovery. If we stop to look, most
moving things in our world are made through this wonderful device. The
driving wheel was the basis of the Industrial Revolution, and thanks to her
were able to operate the steam engines, railroads and factories.

7. COMPUTER
Computers are one of the most important tools of modernity. Everything
we do today or what we access, as you are reading this article, is via
automated systems. Imagine if suddenly halt all existing computers: would
stop banking, commerce, education, medical services, finally, collapse all
daily activities worldwide.

8. ELECTRICITY
Static electricity was known since ancient times, so it really could say that
electricity was discovered by the Greeks, Phoenicians, Parthians and
Mesopotamians.

9. MEDICATIONS
Today, many drugs are of synthetic or semisynthetic origin, however, the
first Aspirin-like drugs or penicillin-properties emerged plants.
Therefore, the discovery is not just drug itself but the medicinal properties
that our environment can bring. How to synthesize to increase their
effectiveness and reduce their risks.

There is no doubt that the Internet has revolutionized the way we
learn, communicate and entertain. Today, the family is no longer around to
television, but each is in its own computer and communicate using it even if
they are a few feet away.
