- 7. BDMA 2019 Findings from a survey of over 2,000 UK respondents show that: 37 per cent lives in homes with condensation problems and 28 per cent in homes with mould. All three issues were even higher among renters. (Ipsos MORI) Almost 10% is currently receive treatment for Asthma in UK. It is among the highest rates in Europe

- 16. 16 - Mould can cause health problems - Mould problems in UK buildings is not uncommon - Mould growth (above trivial levels) should be removed. - Toxic mould term is not relevant (speciation are not necessary). - Quantity is important - Succes criteria for mould remediation is available - Don’t kill mould, remove it.
