We did in fact solve the equation to save the Moon It’s Confirmed
Part 1: Discovering the Paths of the missiles and the Place of their Intersection 1. Plot the points of the nuclear warhead from North Korea. Then find the approximate path of the warhead. (the line of best fit) This is what it should look like on your calculator. *don’t forget to change the window North Korean Warhead
2. Then plot the points of the American Missile and find its path as well The American Missile’s Path
3. Find the intersection of the two lines in order to discover if the moon is saved . Intersection Although hard to see here the Intersection is at 232323.5465 Miles from the Earth, and will Happen during the tenth day. (exactly 10.40664753)
1. (Use the equations from the lines of best fit) y= 24388.05952x - 21474.39286 y= 26176.40476x - 40085.07143 1. Use substitution (since both equations are set to “y”, one equation will just equal the other) 24388.05952x - 21474.39286 = 26176.40476x - 40085.07143 Part 2: Finding the Intersection of the Missiles with out our electronics
24388.05952x - 21474.39286 = 26176.40476x - 40085.07143 -24388.05952x -24388.05952   -21474.39286 = 1788.34524x - 40085.07143 +40085.07143 +40085.07143   18610.67857  =  1788.34524x 1788.34524  1788.34524   x= 10.40664753 Confusing Huh? Keep Up and You’ll be on your way to success
y= 24388.05952(10.40664753) - 21474.39286 y= 232323.5465
232323.5465 = 24388.05952(10.40664753) - 21474.39286 232323.5465 = 253797.9394 - 21474.39286 232323.5465 = 232323.5465 The Equation Checks Out   232323.5465 = 26176.40476(10.40664753) - 40085.07143 232323.5465 = 272408.6179 - 40085.07143 232323.5465 = 232323.5465 The Equation Checks Out

In conclusion, America did in fact save the moon. This was discovered by using NASA’s data to map out the projected paths of the missiles, and solving out the best fit equations. The Korean missile traveled at about 39528 km/day, 1497 km/hr, and 956 mi/hr There were a few sources of error, like which side of the earth is facing the moon and space conditions
