Hannah Hughes created a mood board for her music magazine project. The mood board features covers of rock magazines to use as inspiration for designing her own magazine cover. She intends to draw from the styles of the rock magazine covers in her mood board when taking photos and designing the layout of her music magazine.

3. Meanings/Reason Behind
• There are many reasons for using the previous
images as inspiration. But the main reason is that
to me, they connote a ‘rock’ style of genre. For
this reason I will take them as inspiration when
designing my magazine.
• All the magazine covers in my mood board are
from rock magazines, and I will look to these
magazines when designing my own cover.
• The images will be used as inspiration when it
comes to taking the images for my magazine.
