( Nov 7) a cancer awareness android app called ONCOTIP is
launched by Department of Community Medicine, K.S.

AHMEDABAD: Patients with type-2 diabetes have more
chances of developing dyslipidaemia - Elevation of
plasma cholesterol, triglycerides (TGs), or both - than
non-diabetic persons. The disease increases the risk of
developing cardiovascular complications, claims a study
conducted by department of community medicine of BJ
Medical College, GMERS Medical college, Patna
and Rajshree Medical Research Institute in Bareilly. Of
187 diabetic patients studied, over 80% showed
dyslipidaemia. The prevalence was higher among men
than women

worldwide, with an estimated 21 lakh people living

Chandigarh in 2014, according to the latest report,
