The film revolves around a struggling road constructor, Sachin Tichkule who dreams big but
he doesn't have any money to bribe the bureaucracy. To make matters worse, the new
Municipal Commissioner turns out to be his former girlfriend who now hates him due to his
wayward ways.
Upon release, the film received mixed reviews from critics. Rajeev Masand rated the film 1/5
calling it schizophrenic.

38. Anand Tiwari is a noted Indian film and stage actor, known for his roles in films like Udaan
(2010), Kites (2010), Aisha (2010), and so on. He is the co-founder of the theatre company
FAT Productions in Mumbai. He has worked as an assistant director for Barfi! And The
President is Coming, and played the newsreader in Slumdog Millionaire.
However, he is most well known, apart from his regular film appearances, for two of his
directorial projects, one of which he even acted in. One of these two projects came out last
year and was widely liked by the audience. It starred Ali Fazal among others.
The other campaign was one of the most hard hitting, socially awakening campaigns to see
the face of modern India. Talking about topics ranging from voting, woman empowerment,
bribery and so on, this campaign was one that got him the limelight and the praise, both as
an actor and a director. His direction wasn’t publicized and isn’t documented, but interviews
of Anand himself, and Lowe Lintas executives confirm the same. Some parts of this campaign
also went on to star SRK and be directed by R Balki.

early 1990s. Bhai then tried to fit the song in a lot of his films, but the filmmakers didn’t
agree.
Then after a good 4-5 years, Bhai used the song in his home production despite a lot of
opposition. A new problem arose as to who would sing the song (which was originally
composed and scratch sung by X). The song was recorded with Abhijeet, after trying a lot of
other singers. But Abhijeet as well, couldn’t get the punch of the first 2-3 notes right, albeit

Seeing no other way, X was called all over and he sung his own song, with perfect punch and
feel, and even won a Filmfare for it, not to forget lots and lots of fan following for both X and
