 90’s music directors were preferring X over Y,and also the song of movie Dil -
mujhe neend na aye mujhe chain na aye was originally recorded by Y,but music
directors wanted it X’s voice so they replaced it. At that time X and kavita
krishnamurty were ruling the bollywood in that era .
 suddenly in late 90’s X told “henceforth she would not singing for anyone else
except t-series” this decision affected her carrier badly therefore songs went to
alka yagnik as X refused to sing any songs except T Series ,so in quick time Y rose
to fame in early and from there on two of the greatest singers Yand X were
replaced by another two great singers Shreya Ghoshal and Sunidhi Chouhan.
