• The ParticipantsPanel providesinformation about all
participantsin a session.
• You can (a) view other user profiles and edit your own, (b)
see what featuresothers are currently using, and (c) see
what permissions you and others have.
• The ParticipantsPanel also providestools to facilitate
interactionsamong participants. You can:
(a) use emoticons;
(b) raise your hand;
(c) indicateyou havestepped awayfrom thesession;
(d) send a privatechat message; and
(e) respond to polls.

Room Tab (1) vs. Moderators Tab (2)
Room Tab is a public chatting room that can be seen by all users, while
ModeratorsTab is only shared by the moderatorswhich is used under a
co-teaching situation. In addition,if thereare any privatechats, thosetabs
will be shown on theright side of the ModeratorsTab.

1. Get Information:You can get information (such as connection speed,
signal strength, encryption and session time) about your session
connection through theInformation menu in the Collaboration toolbar. (1)

2. Load Content
The following types of files can be loaded as
Whiteboard pages:
• Image Files: .bmp, .gif, .jpg, .jpeg and .png
files
• Whiteboard Files: .wbd files
• Protected Whiteboard Files: .wbp files
• PowerPoint and OpenOffice.org files
* Quiz (.vcq) files will be loaded into the Quiz
Manager
* Session Plan (.elp & .elpx) files will be loaded
into the Session Plan Library.

* Notes (.eln) files will be loaded intothe
Notes Window.
* Multimedia (.mp3, .wmv, .mpeg,.mpeg4,

*NOTE: If the file type is not associated with a
module, it will be loaded into the File Transfer
Library, which supports all file types. (The number
of files you can load is dependent upon the size of
the files. The default total file size is 10 MB.)
