• Showed the steel mettle in addressing the URI counter strikes in destroying
eight terror camps.
• Defended our border areas from Kashmir to Arunachal Pradesh with
minimum loss and maximum impact for national security with
revolutionary Agnipath scheme for the youth to become Agniveers.
• Restructured security forces with integrated Chief of Defense Staff.
• Setup Navy innovation and Indigenization Organization to indigenize the
innovation with impact in Indian security. The NIIO, in conjunction with the
Defence Innovation Organisation (DIO),least 75 new indigenous
technologies and products into the Indian Navy and this collaborative
project is named SPRINT (Supporting Pole-Vaulting in R&D through iDEX,
NIIO and TDAC).
