Mobile browsing now accounts for over 15% of all internet usage, yet many company websites are not optimized for mobile. By not having a responsive mobile-friendly website, companies are missing out on 15% of potential leads and revenue. Google has also begun penalizing websites in mobile search results if they are not mobile-optimized. There are now responsive templates for all major content management systems, so there is no excuse for not enabling a website to be viewed on mobile devices. Companies must either provide a mobile version of their website or risk losing leads to their more mobile-friendly competitors.
