The project involved refurbishing the barium room at Milton Keynes University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust to create a new fluoroscopy room and patient recovery room. The £130,000 project was completed in January 2016 and aims to improve patient care by providing alternative space for non-fluoroscopic procedures and recovery outside of the interventional room. Construction works included reconfiguring walls and partitions, adding new lighting, ventilation, plumbing and wireless nurse call systems.
