Miranda is a minor character in the story who undergoes some changes. Her parents got divorced before high school, making her an only child being raised by her mom and dad separately. She changed her style after the divorce and befriends Auggie. While she doesn't enjoy sports, she serves as a good friend to Auggie at school. Miranda is considered a dynamic character because her friendship with Via deteriorates as Miranda changes her style and appearance over time.
