Its scientific name is Ankylosaurus Magniventris. It was first discovered in 1906 by a
team led by American paleontologist Barnum Brown, who also discovered the T-Rex - a
dinosaur Iβll NOT feel safe around!!

Ankylosaurus is an armoured dinosaur. An armoured dinosaur is a
dinosaur who looks like it is wearing armour - like the more famous
Triceratops and stegosaurus.

The name Ankylosaurus comes from the Greek meaning βfused lizardβ. It was named
that because the bones in its skull and on the other parts of the body were fused.

There is actually no known animals that descended from the Ankylosaurus but the
Ankylosaurus does have close relatives. Those relatives are Euoplocephalus and
Anodontosaurus.
