3. ABOUT DINASAURS
 Dinosaurs were a diverse group of reptiles that lived millions of

included crocodiles and birds.
 Dinosaurs evolved during the Mesozoic Era, which is often referred
to as the "Age of Dinosaurs."
Types of Dinosaurs:
 There were two main types of dinosaurs: Saurischians and
Ornithischians.
 Saurischians had lizard-like hips and were further divided into
two groups: a) Theropods: Carnivorous dinosaurs like
Tyrannosaurus rex and Velociraptor. b) Sauropodomorphs:
Herbivorous dinosaurs with long necks and tails, such as
Brachiosaurus and Diplodocus.
 Ornithischians had bird-like hips and included various
herbivorous dinosaurs like Triceratops and Stegosaurus.
