Turtles are among the slowest animals on land. While sea turtles dive for jellyfish and eat various soft foods without teeth, they and tortoises are preyed on by birds. Roadrunners are fast desert birds with feather-covered bodies and sharp claws. Their legs are rough and light, allowing them to eat bugs, lizards, worms and mice in the desert bushes where they live. With thin, colorful bodies nearly half the length of their long tail, roadrunners stay warm through their ability to generate heat wherever they are.
Cougars, pumas, and mountain lions are all names for the same animal. They can leap over 20 feet and have various vocalizations besides roaring such as howling, growling, and screaming. While cougar cubs are born with blue eyes, adult cougars now only live in the western United States where they hunt for prey. Males are larger than females, with males weighing up to 200 pounds compared to less than 100 pounds for some females.
Rattlesnakes are dry reptiles with scales that form patterns on their bodies. They live in desert areas like Mexico and hunt at night, killing small animals with their venomous bite to eat them. Rattlesnakes rattle their tails to warn of danger and sleep during the day.
Tigers are large wild cats that live mostly alone in southern Asia. Mother tigers teach their cubs to hunt and tigers like to swim in rivers and lakes, though they sleep during the day in shaded areas. Tigers have sharp claws and teeth and roar loudly, most being orange with black stripes.

Removing Uninteresting Bytes in Software FuzzingAftab Hussain
Imagine a world where software fuzzing, the process of mutating bytes in test seeds to uncover hidden and erroneous program behaviors, becomes faster and more effective. A lot depends on the initial seeds, which can significantly dictate the trajectory of a fuzzing campaign, particularly in terms of how long it takes to uncover interesting behaviour in your code. We introduce DIAR, a technique designed to speedup fuzzing campaigns by pinpointing and eliminating those uninteresting bytes in the seeds. Picture this: instead of wasting valuable resources on meaningless mutations in large, bloated seeds, DIAR removes the unnecessary bytes, streamlining the entire process.
In this work, we equipped AFL, a popular fuzzer, with DIAR and examined two critical Linux libraries -- Libxml's xmllint, a tool for parsing xml documents, and Binutil's readelf, an essential debugging and security analysis command-line tool used to display detailed information about ELF (Executable and Linkable Format). Our preliminary results show that AFL+DIAR does not only discover new paths more quickly but also achieves higher coverage overall. This work thus showcases how starting with lean and optimized seeds can lead to faster, more comprehensive fuzzing campaigns -- and DIAR helps you find such seeds.

The introduction of DLAU and the CCB & CCX licensing model caused quite a stir in the HCL community. As a Notes and Domino customer, you may have faced challenges with unexpected user counts and license costs. You probably have questions on how this new licensing approach works and how to benefit from it. Most importantly, you likely have budget constraints and want to save money where possible. Don’t worry, we can help with all of this!
We’ll show you how to fix common misconfigurations that cause higher-than-expected user counts, and how to identify accounts which you can deactivate to save money. And naturally we’ll explain the new licensing model.
Join HCL Ambassador Marc Thomas in this webinar with a special guest appearance from Franz Walder. It will give you the tools and know-how to stay on top of what is going on with Domino licensing. You will be able lower your cost through an optimized configuration and keep it low going forward.
These topics will be covered

Editor's Notes
Kate’s comments:Reconsider using % in MM9 Mac financial projections – use actual numberPropose x% increase in revenue, therefore expect x% increase in marketing budgetTriple the investment to ~$60kCalculate between $15-60kCurrently ~$200/quarterOpportunistically, we can open more opportunities and bring bigger investment$6k/year + program giveaways, etc.
Data analysis needed. Who is our audience, what are their use cases, what features are NECESSARY??Look at Win existing vs. non-Win existingWhat if we just tried full-on marketing with current product?Do a test market? Shift $25-50k from another product?Mindjet System 10 – skip to system 10? Put money into Web instead? Capture Mac audience … Market to community at large. Why are people NOT buying Mac? ANALYZE WIN-MAC RATIO – Are we selling to existing customers?Of new users, what percentage of new Mac users is existing Windows???Dedicated Mac landing page – discuss with Kate, Felicity and Mike. Not strategic project – what do we do to spike sales? MUST FOLLOW STRATEGIC ROADMAP.
