Mind mapping allows groups in different locations to collaborate visually on ideas. It is a useful tool for students to develop ideas and stay organized while writing papers. The toolbar allows users to add, delete, connect, and move ideas to build out the map and export it or print it when finished. Additional features include formatting options, attaching documents, and tracking changes over time.

Although “the map is not the territory” the more accurate and appropriate are the maps we use, the easier it is for us to know where we are at any particular time, & where do we wish to go.

This workshop provides an overview of the Summer Health Institute, a collaborative with local community college, UC-Santa Cruz, and Mission Trails R.O.P. Students exposed to health related careers through an articulated summer program, including case studies at the hospital, classroom study on college campus, 60 hours of externship supervised by clinical staff and new community advocacy research and presentations. Students will present a sample of their community advocacy research and presentations.
