Millennials are the generation born between 1982 and 2002. They prefer communicating via text over email and are the first "always connected" generation due to their constant use of technology from a young age. Millennials are more prone to online communication than face-to-face interaction and tend to be team-oriented with less self-reliance. They have introduced various technologies into learning like RSS feeds, wikis, blogs, social media, podcasts, and online videos. These technologies have helped make the learning environment more interactive and paperless.
