The Cultural Management Academy is a regional post-graduate program and network in 4 countries that aims to build capacity in the cultural sector. It consists of a one-week intensive course, 3-day conference, and funds for collaboration projects. Initiated by Goethe Institutes in multiple countries, it brings together universities, NGOs, and municipalities. The program focuses on cultural heritage, seeking to renew teams, professionalize young operators, increase community awareness, and change perspectives on heritage. The conference portion featured keynote speakers, group work, and workshops to stimulate cross-border collaboration and fund innovative heritage projects.
