Miguel Castillo has a Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology and Immunology from the University of Miami. He has research experience examining lytic infection of cells with KSHV-R using transmission electron microscopy and examining the cytotoxic effect of Doxycyclin on sarcoma cells. Castillo has also volunteered in hospital emergency rooms and medical labs, interfacing with patients and staff.
