Migration doesn’t mean crime
Some petty crimes are committed by
foreigners because they are often young
and poor, as Italian emigrants were.

Refugees are too many,
Europe is too small to welcome them!
The African country of Uganda welcomes more
migrants than the whole Europe: in 2016 it welcomed
490000 refugees; in the same year in Europe the
immigrants were 390000

Migrations and terrorism aren’t connected!
625000 migrants arrived in Italy since 2011 and only
one, Anis Amri, became a terrorist and committed a
terrorist attack in Berlin in 2016. He was later killed
by Italian police

In 1996 a boat with ca. 300
migrants has sunk in the
Mediterranean, near the
Sicilian coast of Portopalo. In
the following months
Portopalo fishers found
corpses in their fishing nets
but preferred to be silent
because a police investigation
would have stopped fishing
activities for a long time. Only
5 years later, thanks to the
witness of the fisher Salvatore
Lupo, the journalist Giovanni
Maria Bellu unveiled the
horrible truth
Migrants aren’t numbers, migrants aren’t
words:
They are people. Erasmus+

The organization
S.P.R.A.R.The Protection System for Asylum Seekers and Refugees (SPRAR) was
created in 2002.
At local level, the local institutions, in cooperation with voluntary
sector organizations, undertake ‘integrated reception’ interventions
going beyond the simple distribution of food and housing, also
providing complementary services such as legal and social guidance
and support, and the development of individual programs to
promote socioeconomic inclusion and integration also for minors.
