This document outlines the methodology for a study comparing business students from Valenzuela State University (VSU) in the present to students from Lyceum of the Philippines University (LPU) in the past. The study will establish profiles of current VSU students, determine factors influencing their degree choice and the timing of that decision. It will also assess student suitability and compare graduation rates of VSU and LPU students. Comparisons will be made between the profiles of current VSU students and past LPU students using statistical tests.
10. Objectives of the Study
The specific objectives are:

Good morning ladies and gentlemen. We live in a world full of data and information that can be harnessed in understanding, learning and making informed decisions.Using data and information to support critical thinking and formulate approaches to solving problems seem to be uncommon among college students and even among young professionals. This is rather odd especially when statistics, the science that provides major analytical tools for this purpose, is presently being taught in most colleges and universities like VSU.This study is entitled…
BSS among the most feared courses by graduate and undergraduate students.Enrolment Statistics is encouraging but graduation rate needs to be increasedNo study on the graduation rate has yet been made
All official BSS students of VSU including the alumni will be included in the studyBecause of inaccessibility of the target population, BSS students enrolled in the 2ndsem of 2012-2013 will be used considered as a representative sample of the whole population
The student will be ask to rank 12 selected Influential factors in the Choosing the BSS program.
