As of early 2016, Power BI added new updates which improve formatting and visualizations in addition to changes and improvements to in the Report Authoring functions. Other new features include a Preview Feature, improved data tables, an optimized Home ribbon layout, new data modeling, more options to control data connectivity. Microsoft is targeting business analysts with the updated features, and says you can “bring your data to life with Power BI and Excel".
In Project Server, Power BI adds value in creating interactive reports and dashboards as it allows data connectivity with OData and other data sources. Power BI reporting can be used with both Project Online and Project Server.
This webinar gives you a platform to learn how to connect to Data Source - OData feed from Power BI. In this session, you will also learn how to create and publish reports and dashboards using the visual tools set available in Power BI desktop, and explore more on its features.

DAMA Webinar - Big and Little Data QualityDATAVERSITY
While technological innovation brings constant change to the data landscape, many organizations still struggle with the basics: ensuring they have reliable, high quality data. In health care, the promise of insight to be gained through analytics is dependent on ensuring the interactions between providers and patients are recorded accurately and completely. While traditional health care data is dependent on person-to-person contact, new technologies are emerging that change how health care is delivered and how health care data is captured, stored, accessed and used. Using health care as a lens through which to understand the emergence of big data, this presentation will ask the audience to think about data in old and new ways in order to gain insight about how to improve the quality of data, regardless of size.
Power BI has become a product with a ton of exciting features. This presentation will give an overview of some of them, including Power BI Desktop, Power BI service, what’s new, integration with other services, Power BI premium, and administration.
Power BI has in its DNA the goal of enabling everybody to experience their data any way, anywhere—in seconds and at global scale.
Power BI offers a set of capabilities that are uniquely enabled by its global and cloud nature:
The ability to harness data from Excel spreadsheets, on-premises data sources through the data gateway, big data, streaming data, and cloud services. It doesn’t matter what type of data you want or where it lives, Power BI allows you to connect to hundreds of data sources.
Out-of-the box SaaS content packs that deliver a curated experience with pre-built dashboards to get you up and running quickly. We have hundreds of ISVs building content packs to cater to the needs of millions of Power BI users.
Unmatched, unique ways for users to experience their data with speed and agility:
Live dashboards that maintain a real-time pulse on the business and provide critical insights.
Natural language query that enables users to simply and intuitively ask questions of their data, including through Cortana.
Custom visuals that bring data to life and surface intelligence hidden in the sea of data, with our community leveraging the Power BI visualization stack to create new ways to visualize data in a way that makes more sense. (Now available in the Office store.)
Integration of Power BI with the Microsoft stack. Power BI is part of larger ecosystem that integrates with services like Microsoft Teams, Office 365, and Dynamics 365. These services are aware of Power BI, are wired to Power BI, and enable you to use Power BI in the context of your work.
Anywhere access to insights. Whether in the office or on-the-go, Power BI provides anywhere access to insights with dashboards accessible via the desktop, on the web, or across mobile devices. Inside Excel, embedded—we have hundreds of ISVs embedding Power BI in their offerings.

At the end of 2+ year-hardwork, we designed Integer8-Visual Integration Software for companies to be more productive while processing big data. We combine Spark, Yarn, Hive and HDFS together and we create a web-based enterprise level data integration platform on which developers can easily create ETL and integration flows by drag&drop. By the help of this infrastructure, developers do not need to know all details about Hadoop/map-reduce and other Hadoop tools. We desing Integer8 to be used by SQL which is the most popular language on data processing and we provide a connection over JDBC/ODBC for other BI tools to query directly from HDFS.

Power BI is a collection of software services and apps that work together to turn your data into rich visualizations. You can pull data from simple spreadsheets, complex databases, and a vast array of cloud-based services, allowing you to consolidate information, and present it in clear, compelling ways.
Business intelligence dashboards and data visualizations serve as a launching point for better business decision making. Learn how you can leverage Power BI to easily build reports and dashboards with interactive visualizations.
Techniques to optimize the pagerank algorithm usually fall in two categories. One is to try reducing the work per iteration, and the other is to try reducing the number of iterations. These goals are often at odds with one another. Skipping computation on vertices which have already converged has the potential to save iteration time. Skipping in-identical vertices, with the same in-links, helps reduce duplicate computations and thus could help reduce iteration time. Road networks often have chains which can be short-circuited before pagerank computation to improve performance. Final ranks of chain nodes can be easily calculated. This could reduce both the iteration time, and the number of iterations. If a graph has no dangling nodes, pagerank of each strongly connected component can be computed in topological order. This could help reduce the iteration time, no. of iterations, and also enable multi-iteration concurrency in pagerank computation. The combination of all of the above methods is the STICD algorithm. [sticd] For dynamic graphs, unchanged components whose ranks are unaffected can be skipped altogether.
As Europe's leading economic powerhouse and the fourth-largest hashtag#economy globally, Germany stands at the forefront of innovation and industrial might. Renowned for its precision engineering and high-tech sectors, Germany's economic structure is heavily supported by a robust service industry, accounting for approximately 68% of its GDP. This economic clout and strategic geopolitical stance position Germany as a focal point in the global cyber threat landscape.
In the face of escalating global tensions, particularly those emanating from geopolitical disputes with nations like hashtag#Russia and hashtag#China, hashtag#Germany has witnessed a significant uptick in targeted cyber operations. Our analysis indicates a marked increase in hashtag#cyberattack sophistication aimed at critical infrastructure and key industrial sectors. These attacks range from ransomware campaigns to hashtag#AdvancedPersistentThreats (hashtag#APTs), threatening national security and business integrity.
🔑 Key findings include:
🔍 Increased frequency and complexity of cyber threats.
🔍 Escalation of state-sponsored and criminally motivated cyber operations.
🔍 Active dark web exchanges of malicious tools and tactics.
Our comprehensive report delves into these challenges, using a blend of open-source and proprietary data collection techniques. By monitoring activity on critical networks and analyzing attack patterns, our team provides a detailed overview of the threats facing German entities.
This report aims to equip stakeholders across public and private sectors with the knowledge to enhance their defensive strategies, reduce exposure to cyber risks, and reinforce Germany's resilience against cyber threats.
