Electrical Engineer with 19years post –graduate experience in the manufacturing and service
industries. Also been a member of the Kenya Bureau of Standard technical committee for
establishment of renewable energy standards, International Solar energy Society [I.S.E.S] and the
Engineers Registration Board [ERB] as a graduate Engineer.

Design of power distribution systems for 66 KV, 33 KV, 11 KV medium voltages for grid extension and
for off-grid systems.
When I joined the organization in February 2008, it was still in the formative stages and I contributed to
the setting up of the structures within the organization in particular preparation of design department’s
operation procedures which were adopted by the department. I represent the organization in the
standardization working group of the Power Institute of East and Southern Africa (PIESA) which I still
represent. I was also the designated projects Engineer for World Bank and other foreign funded projects.
I have also been trained as an ISO 2009 internal Auditor and am the departments’ ISO representative in
the implementation committee and contributed to the organizations’ ISO certification in the year 2011.

• PVMT/FC Funded PV solar project for Muramati SACCO [Murang’a Kenya]. Responsible
for design, costing and product sourcing and procurement, preparation of supply & execution
