The document describes the author's experience with a major position shift in their life when they decided to study abroad rather than join the military as originally planned. They discuss communicating this change to others, the difficulties of adapting to a new environment and lifestyle abroad, and how the shift helped them grow by becoming more independent and learning new skills for interacting with others. In the end, the author concludes that position shifts are an inevitable part of life that can bring both challenges and benefits by helping one gain experience and a steady character.

Actually, my feeling for this class is not clear yet, because it is my first time to attend this kind of classes, which I was told that I have to take this class due to my low GPA. Honestly, I was not happy to know that I have to take this kind of classes because my grade, because I thought this class will be a time wasting for me. Also I do not like to be forced to do something that I do not like to do. However, from what we have discussed on the first class I am pretty sure that it is going to be a good experience for me in several ways such as writing journals, how to organize my schedule, and the most important thing is that how to succeed in college. Also, since I am an international student, I need to learn many skills, which this class will do it. For example, self-reflection is very important skill in this class, and it is a new skill that I need to improve myself on it by writing down my own ideas and thoughts to make a good piece of writing.
· Reflection:
As I have said on the first journal, my feeling was not that much good for this class because I thought it is going to be a time wasting, but through the semester I found out that it is really helpful and useful class, which has improved my skills and I have met many good friends and I was really glad to work with. I am sure that the time I have spent in this class was worth it.

Everyone has a blind spot in their personality that they don’t know about it. According to Lynn Little blind spot is “the grid that represents information that is known-by-others but not known-by-self”. There are some steps to find the blind spots in my personality that would do such as quick thinking, analysis my feelings, and ask others. First of all is quick thinking, which means to think about what I do not know about myself and others might know about me from my behavior. Second, by analyzing my feelings there is a big chance to find out some new things about my personality that I have never thought or felt about it before, which could make a huge difference. Third step is asking other people for a feedback about myself, and what they see on me According to my behavior. So, if I do like what I have found about myself by the previous steps, I would keep doing them and try to improve and develop these behaviors on my personality to get the best in myself. On the other hand, if I do not like what I have discovered about my blind spots, or myself, I will stop it immediately to avoid it or try to fix what it could be fixed by getting more knowledge about it. I believe that knowing my blind spots will support to change the way I think, behave and feel. Also, it will help me to reach more prospects for success in my college life and after college life.
· Reflection:
Since I have thought about my blind spot in my personality, I have discovered many things that if I changed them, I can improve my personality, which will help me to understand other people. Also, it can help me to impro.

A Story to Remember
Have you ever wanted to learn about cultures or discovering your self by studying abroad? An important aspect of my life is that I like to learn different things. The world is always changing, so I am always questioning everything. When I was a kid I woke up every morning just to see the sun and I enjoy going to school to learn. When I got older, things seem to change dramatically and more often. My mind expanded and I started seeing differently. One of the things in my life that has helped me learn and to see differently is studying abroad. Studying abroad led me to learn another language, to discover my personal strength, to expose me to other cultures, and to appreciate my family. It is amazing to think that just leaving one’s home country can provide all these experiences because all of us can be changed in different ways when we deal to another environment.
If everyone works hard for what he wants, he will get it that exactly what happened to me. Since I worked and studied very hard, I finished high school with good grade. I applied to a university, which is the biggest and greatest university in Saudi Arabia, and I got acceptance from it beside acceptance from another universities. I did not hesitate choosing this university to study in it so that I accepted and continue my document. As all know that studying in University unlike studying in school for different aspects, so I cannot forget my first day in university. I attended engineering college just for one year. However, conditions were bad there because the first year in the university, which calls Preparatory Year, is going to be sets to the major as a high GPA, and the engineering was the highest major for the GPA. I started studying with two emotions one of them is afraid that can I get a high GPA and join the engineering college, and the others is eager to study and get what I want. I did the best I can so that I finally got a high GPA and I joined the Engineering College after finishing a year, which was Preparatory Year.
I started studying in Engineering College, and it was not easy since they taught in English. I thought that if I entered Engineering that means I am going to choose my major in Engineering; however, I received a new news, that make me frustrated, that there is another competition between students in Engineering which who gets highest in GPA, he is going to study the highest rank of the university which was Electrical Engineering, and that major what I wanted. I tried to be eager as I was in the first but I could not. I dropped the engineering collage and I told my family about it who were upset at the first time, but then they supported me.
One thing I have always liked to do since I was a kid is watching movies. Most of the movies are in English, which was the beginning of my exposure to the English language. I thought it was an amazing language and I tried to learn it. I r.

In Jude 17-23 Jude shifts from piling up examples of false teachers from the Old Testament to a series of practical exhortations that flow from apostolic instruction. He preserves for us what may well have been part of the apostolic catechism for the first generation of Christ-followers. In these instructions Jude exhorts the believer to deal with 3 different groups of people: scoffers who are "devoid of the Spirit", believers who have come under the influence of scoffers and believers who are so entrenched in false teaching that they need rescue and pose some real spiritual risk for the rescuer. In all of this Jude emphasizes Jesus' call to rescue straying sheep, leaving the 99 safely behind and pursuing the 1.

3. The position shifts’ definition of
mine
Position shift is one thing we cannot avoid
in daily life.
Mental change, environment's change
can all be defined as position shift.
We cannot judge the effect of a position
shift by only estimate the surface of one
thing because it can always be butterfly
effect.
4. Position shift not
only happens at
the beginning of an
incident, but also
when you start to
handle this.
It is the basic
element in our daily
life, so don’t try to
avoid it because if
you do this you will
be punished by
coming of the
change that you
cannot afford.
6. Before
Iurgently wanted to join in the army. This
dream always stays with me for many
years. After I finished my sophomore’s
year at collage I was planning to join the
army during that summer break and I
even wrote an application and then
passed the physical examination .
7. During
Some incidents and the order from my
parents let me had to go on my study at
college ,and I had to change my mind .
“When God closes a door, He opens a
window.” Fortunately, I was chosen to
study
abroad.
8. After
A the beginning I was full of passion and
fighting will .
Life is not always comfortable, I had some
difficulties because I was not able to
adapt myself to the new circumstances
and became puzzled and exhausted .
Up to now , life goes well and I have
changed a lot, I have made a great
progress.
9. How I communicate my Shift
to others and their response
After knowing I will study abroad my
friends said it is good opportunity for me
and my best friend often writes to me and
tells me that just come home quickly
because they need me .
10. My father told me: If you want to get one
thing, you should give up something;
everyone should have his own
undertaking, life will bring about fortune to
your life. You cannot make sure that the
decisions you are making not suitable for
you before the result comes to us. What
he said encourages me a lot and I always
appreciate his understanding and
supporting. My mother was a little bit
upset because she would be missing me.
11. Duringthe first several days I come to
America I was not able to adapt myself to
the new circumstances and became
puzzled and exhausted . I asked my
cousin for help, after the long talk, what
he said make me suddenly enlightened, I
started working hard and became
outgoing.
12. Detail descriptions
Region change and life style’s change: I
leaved where I used to live and went to a
totally different environment to hold a life
style I was not familiar with.
13. Mental change: In China parents always love their
children ardently, due to this I used to shirk in daily
life. But this thing made me must change, I needed
to handle all of problems I met, choose a right way
when I met a forked road.
China University of Mining and Technology , My college in China.
14. What it brings to me
There is an old saying: If you want to get
one thing, you should give up something;
everyone should have his own
undertaking.
Position shift is not only a change but also
a training to everybody, we should hold a
positive attitude to it.
15. Firstlyit’s the way to deal with people, in
China parents always teach children to
be modest, if you are a genius you
cannot accept the praise from others,
you should just say I am not good enough
or someone is better than me. But when I
came to USA I found out that if you have
talent in some aspects, you can show it
off; people will admire you if you are really
good enough in this area but not be
critical about your attitude.
16. Secondly, far away from family also bring
me a lot of confusion and new skill, we
don’t need to do housework when we
are still at school, most of Chinese parents
will try their best to let their children feel
comfortable when they are staying in
home, but I have to face to those all
without others’ help, it’s a bit hard for me,
so during a long time the life to me is how
to survive but not how to live, fortunately, I
worked so hard and finally learned how to
hold a happy life all by myself.
17. Thirdly,I have so many friends in my
hometown but when I came to USA,
I cannot find the familiar
environment and I was so hard to
communicate with others because I
cannot learn what others’ saying
and hardly to show what I was
really thinking about. But after some
time, my focusing on language’s
learning is effective, and I pass this
life’s test.
18. Lastbut not least, it’s what it bring to us,
my family, my friends and I, to me, I
always missing home so much and what
to go home at once, my parent also miss
me so much that they always held some
time to call me although they were so
busy. Some of my best friend often write
to me told me that just come home
quickly because they need me, I just want
to cry when I see what they have done to
me, in this case I always told myself to
calm done and go on, I will never let
them done.
19. Conclusion
Everything has tow folds, position is also a rapier. It
can brings us not only environment’s change and
training but also a steady change of our attitude to
how to deal with our attitudes to lives and other
things: take a masquerade or just smile to the shine
without any makeup on our face.
20. Don’t waste you time, and try to do more
things as you can especially when we are
still young. Because those position shifts
can bring us not only experience but also
a steady character.
Life just like a boat, we never know what
will happen next second, so it is full of
coincidence, what we should do is facing
to it and being thankful to the god.
21. IN THE END
Our life is not only a regular clock's hand,
our life is not repetitive tick-tack, it’s the
most beautiful symphonic music in the
world, so cherish it and never afraid to try.
PS is not only position shift but also
perpetual strive.
