About us
BENEFITS OF BECOMING A MEMBER :
M.I.A is a non-profitable, charitable society established in 2004 by
successful Industrialists and businessmen from Peenya Industrial
Area, Bangalore, with a desire to develop the community socio-
economically. It was started as a Trust & then as the activity grew, in
2007 it was transformed into a Society and is now registered under the
Indian societies Act.
M.I.A works only on two agenda 1. Entrepreneurial development & 2.
Support the cause of Education at different levels in our community.
M.I.A has obtained exemption under section 80 G of the income tax act
to provide benefit to the donors.
As a part of entrepreneurial development, MIA helps the entrepreneurs
by providing them with a common platform where all the members
converge and explore the business opportunities that are available
from time to time, by networking.
And as a social obligation for the innumerable blessings that Allah has
bestowed on us, Socially, Economically, etc., MIA supports the cause
of education by way of adoption of Government schools and involves
itself in improving the standard of education by deputing private
teachers to the adopted schools where there is a shortage of
government appointed teachers and further by providing books,
teaching aids, uniforms etc., for the children. It also encourages poor &
deserving students of professional colleges by providing them with
scholarship.
Any person (a Technocrat with vast experience, Students passing out
of Professional courses etc.,) desirous of becoming an entrepreneur
can enroll as a member of our association.
1. MIA will be able to guide the prospective entrepreneur on all
procedural formalities involved in setting up a new industry.
2. Business opportunity by way of customers if any from among
the existing members can be explored.
3. The association will help the member to get relief in case of any
harassment from the statutory authorities like Sales Tax, ESI,
EPF etc.

4. If we have a strong member base, we can have our
representative in state industrial bodies like KASSIA, FICCI,
etc., so that the interests of our community can be protected. It
will give an opportunity to demand various facilities for the
benefit of our members that may be available from the GOK &
GOI. We can invite the bureaucrats from various departments
to our association and have interaction with the members.
5. One can benefit and improve his knowledge by attending
seminars & workshops conducted by MIA on personality
development, soft skills, Industrial Management etc., from time
to time.
6. Knowledge & Experience (Technical, Financial, HR
management etc.) of members can be shared with each other.
If carefully & deeply analysed, the root cause for majority of the
problems the Muslim community is facing today will narrow
down to illiteracy (Jahiliath) among the masses.
The representation of Muslims in many government
organizations & various other fields is hardly 2% at present,
which at the time of Indian Independence was around 12% (as
per Sachar Committee report).
We as elite members of our community should be committed to
social uplift, justice, sustainable development and human
rights of our community. Hence to achieve all the above-
mentioned points the best way is to provide good Education
among our children and Entrepreneurial Development among
our youth.
Providing better education to our community at the grass root
level will certainly push the literacy rate of our community to a
higher level. It further helps our community to get better socio
economic status. Further if educated youth are given
opportunity under entrepreneurial development they would
further help the same cause as that of ours and the cycle will
continue.
