Editor's Notes

  • #2 I would like to start by saying thank you for choosing us to help increase your business with effective internet marketing. 1-800-CHARITY CARS is an outstanding company that is changing the lives of people all over the United States by…
  • #3 …“engaging in activities that will uplift humanity”. We believe in the work that your doing and want to make it so that you don’t only have a website that is functional and looks good, but that will truly reflect the heart of your business. With that said, I would like to share why we believe it’s important to also consider an excellent mobile web presence.
  • #4 Mobile is growing like crazy. People are spending more time on their mobile phones than ever before. Of the world’s 4 billion mobilephones in use, 1.08 billionaresmartphones and a whopping 3.05 billion are SMS enabled (that leaves only 950 million simple phones).
  • #5 In fact in 2014, mobile internet should take over desktop internet usage. That is some really fast growth and if 1-800-CHARITY CARS decides not to invest in mobile now, It’s going to have a lot of catch-up work to do later and may even find that they are always slightly behind the curve.
  • #6 Because of the increasing use of mobile devices, web design has had to accommodate for the smaller screens, different input capabilities (like using your finger on the screen instead of using a mouse), slower data which delays download speeds, and complex content. Fortunately this has forced designers to get creative and come up with practical solutions like prioritizing features and content and reducing levels of hierarchy, Design to encourage selection instead of typing,Reduce the amount of content a Web page contains,Keep the complexity of users’ contexts of in mind.” While this may sound difficult there are actually some new technologies that can be used to make your website compatible with many different devices.
  • #7 If your portal is built on principles of RWD (Responsive Web Design) then it will be accessible from a wide range of devices ranging from 60” TVs to 21” desktops to 3” smart phones. RWD is an ideal strategy as it can provide optimal accessibility on mobile devices, without affecting your long-term maintenance and marketing costs. Saving you money in the future, by not having to reinvest in a new site will ensure the continued success of 1-800-CHARITY CARS.
  • #8 In order to make you a Responsive web design, we will use HTML5 and CSS3 which are the future of web design standards that will guarantee a successful future for 1-800-CHARITY CARS web presence.
  • #9 When comparing these two websites on an IPhone, It’s clear who the winner is. The one on the right is barely readable while the one on the left is clean simple and easy to navigate.
  • #10 Here is another obvious example. On average, Americans spend 2.7 hours per day socializing on their mobile device. With the majority of people using mobile devices over their desktops, you can see why it’s so important to make sure your site looks good on any device no matter how big or small.
  • #11 By now you can see the advantage of designing your next site to be mobile ready. We recommend you allowing us to not only design a website for you but to take advantage of HTML5, CSS3, and create an amazing Responsive Web Design that will enable you to get a head start on the explosive growth of mobile device usage.
