This document discusses zines, self-publishing, blogs, and their relevance for librarians. It notes that zines can cover a wide variety of topics and are created out of a desire to fill voids in mainstream media. It also mentions several zines created by librarians about zines and libraries. Finally, it discusses blogs as another format for librarians to freely publish and self-publish online, and provides a link to slides from the related talk.
