Methodology
Research Design
The research design refers to the overall strategy that
you choose to integrate the different components of the
study in a coherent and logical way, thereby, ensuring
you will effectively address the research problem; it
constitutes the blueprint for the collection,
measurement, and analysis of data.
Research Design
What is research design also known as?
A research design also called a research
strategy, is a plan to answer a set of
questions (McCombes, 2019). It is a
framework that includes the methods and
procedures to collect, analyze, and interpret
data.
Research locale
Research locale discusses the
place or setting of the study. It
describes in brief the place where
the study is conducted.
Research respondents
The survey respondent is appropriately referred
to as a “respondent” because that is exactly the
role he or she is playing in the research process.
He or she is responding to the researcher's
questions which are typically structured and
closed-ended in format.
Research Instruments
A Research Instrument is a tool used to collect,
measure, and analyze data related to your
research interests. These tools are most
commonly used in health sciences, social
sciences, and education to assess patients,
clients, students, teachers, staff, etc.
