 The most difficult population to teach is the
 teenagers. They are not really motivated to
 learn anything including English; in this
 specific case I would only be focused on the
 lack of motivation students might have
 studying English. Some reasons could be the
 class content and the personal issues
 students could have.
 Some    teens just found this class the most
  difficult one they could ever had, or
  sometimes they found this class:
 The most boring (topics)
 The most difficult


 Another  reason is that they have another
 activities besides English, so they decide
 what is more important to them.
 General
 The general objective is to describe through
 my experience how I worked with teenagers
 who were not motivated to learn English at
 Harmon Hall.
 Particular Objectives
 To show how I dealt with the lack of
  motivation in teenagers.
 To describe the results obtained from the
  techniques used with the teenagers
 To share the experiences I had with particular
  students and also the moments my
  techniques did not work so future teachers
  learn from them and modify them so their
  techniques work.
 What strategies did I use when having the
 lack of motivation and lack of interest from
 teens when learning English at Harmon Hall
 Chetumal?

 Were these strategies helpful for teenagers
 studying at HH Chetumal?
 The reason of doing this monograph is
 helping future teachers deal with teenagers.

 Describe how I worked with teenagers who
 did not liked english before

 Share my experience in Harmon Hall.
 I described the school Iworked and gained
  experience as a teacher , the framework
  covers:
 Harmon Hall
 The method of Harmon Hall
 Teachers
 Books used in class
 Material and Grading Crateria
    The Natural Approach: Talking only in the target language made students
    feel interested.

   Multimedia Learning: They liked the visual aids I used with their favorite
    cartoons and stars.

   Community Language Learning: Working on groups motivated to work.

   Realia: not a theory but worked as I used real stuff to teach

   Experiencial Learning: Students learned better when we act out some
    scenarios of the real life so they face the real world in a way.

   Game Theory: playing games in class with a purpose is important and
    motivate students more and more.
