The National Library of the Philippines has changed the venue of an upcoming International Conference of Public Librarians from the Sarrosa International Hotel and Residential Suites to the City Sports Club Cebu in Cebu City due to unforeseen circumstances. The conference dates, times, and advisories remain the same. The City Government of Cebu will provide air-conditioned buses to transport participants between the Cebu City Public Library and the new venue from March 19-21, 2014. An attachment lists nearby hotel and pension house accommodations with affordable rates located near the Cebu City Public Library, approximately 2 km from the new venue.

SUBJECT : Change of Conference Venue of International Conference of
Public Librarians.
This is to inform you that due to unforseen circumstances, it has become necessary
for us to change our conference venue from Sarrosa International Hotel and Residential
Suites, to City Sports Club Cebu, Cardinal Rosales Ave., Cebu Business Park, Cebu City.
The date, time and advisory remain the same in all respect, which were already sent to all
participants, and for the convenience of all, the City Government of Cebu will provide 3
air­conditioned buses from 7:00 ­ 7:45 a.m. (morning only) from March 19­21, 2014. from
the Cebu City Public Library to the venue. Attached are lists of Hotel and Pension Houses
with affordable rates located near Cebu City Public Library, approximately 2 kms. away
from City Sports Club Cebu.
