CAREER EXPERIENCE:
IT Operation Department, Midea Group 2012/07----2012/08
Ø Participated in Midea Overseas ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) Project
Ø Assisted with overall blueprint design, getting idea of project process, understanding the
synchronous operation of system and perfecting the details of process
Research Assistant at University College London 2015/09----2015/12
Ø In charge of the project “Optimisation of LTE Waveform for Passive Radar”
Ø Proposed and prove several methods for LTE waveform optimisation
2. PROJECT EXPERIENCE:
Indoor Acoustics Positioning System (Hong Kong)
This system uses ultrasound as the location information carrier and mobile phones to detect the
user’s location. By combining the function of Google Map, the system is able to show both the
outdoor and indoor location exactly. With the extension of the location information, the system
can be used for vulnerable group caring. The main contribution of the project is:
Ø Design the protocol of the positioning system
Ø Design and built MCU circuits to emit the location signals
Ø Develop algorithms and built an Android App to detect, decode and show the exact
location.
This project was shortlisted for the HK U-21 IoT (Internet of Things) Awards and won the
Merit of the HK U-21 IoT Awards 2014.
It was also nominated by the Department of Electronic Engineering, CUHK for the competition
of HKEIA(The Hong Kong Electronic Industries Association) Innovation &Technology
Project Competition Award 2014.
Optimisation of LTE Waveforms for Passive Radar (London)
This project aims at optimising LTE signals for the application of passive bistatic radar. The
main contribution of the project is:
Ø Simulated and built LTE downlink system by MatLab
Ø Proposed and applied several methods on the system to optimise the LTE waveforms such
that the ambiguity function of LTE waveforms performs well enough for radar detection
TECHNICAL SKILLS:
Programming Language: MatLab, C++, Java, Android Development
Professional Software: CST, Keil, ADS, Cadence, LTspice
Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint
EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITY
Public Relation Department, Student Union of SIST, SYSU 2010/09----2012/06
