3. Overview of the Programs
• Bridge courses are available to provide foundation
• Bridge courses will be taken first two quarters
• Option to test out of bridge courses
• Program Length 18-24 Months (depending on bridge courses)
• Fall Start Date (September 13, 2020)
• Classes held on campus after 5 PM on weeknights to accommodate
working professionals

• Registration for Fall 2021 will open on June 1st for new students
• Complete the New Graduate Student Checklist in order to register
• The pre-assessments for the bridge courses (optional)
• Reach out to your advisor
7. Cost of Attendance
• The MS in Cybersecurity program is 48-60 credits depending on bridge
classes and the cost of the program is $744 per credit hour with the
total being between $35,712-44,640.
• The MS in Data Science program is 48-60 credits depending on bridge
classes and the cost of the program is $1,089 per credit hour with the
total being between $52,272-65,340.

• Please note that PMD students are not eligible for graduate assistant
positions. As tuition is already substantially reduced for all students in
the program, additional scholarships are not available.

12. English Language/GRE Test Scores
• GRE, TOEFL, IELTS, and/or Duolingo official scores must be received
directly from the testing agency. The institutional code for DU is 4842.
13. Pre-Assessment Exam
• If a student feels they have the background necessary to test out of the
bridge classes, they may opt to take the pre-assessment exam.
• Students can take the pre-assessment for some or all of the bridge courses.
There is a separate exam for each bridge course.
• Students must get 25 of the 30 multiple choice questions correct to pass
• Exams are taken remotely and have a two-hour time limit.
• Once you request the exam, you will be sent links that will expire in two
weeks
