• Environmental Science Concentration • Environmental Science Concentration with Engineering Emphasis • Environmental Studies Concentration • Information Technology Concentration

• About ten students • Spent the entire semester learning Django, GeoDjango and Leaflet using the development server • Last three weeks we: • fired up a Rackspace cloud server • installed and configured Postgres/PostGIS (but no 4022K!) • Attempted to deploy their Django projects
• Get command line and server experience early • Set up the Postgres/PostGIS server initially (have 4022K now!) • Teach a deployment process and get a basic site deployed • Have students develop new features and deploy to their live site throughout the semester

  • 6. • About ten students • Spent the entire semester learning Django, GeoDjango and Leaflet using the development server • Last three weeks we: • fired up a Rackspace cloud server • installed and configured Postgres/PostGIS (but no 4022K!) • Attempted to deploy their Django projects
  • 7. • Get command line and server experience early • Set up the Postgres/PostGIS server initially (have 4022K now!) • Teach a deployment process and get a basic site deployed • Have students develop new features and deploy to their live site throughout the semester
