7. Year 6 Programme Continued…
•Streamed Math classes.
•Robotics – two afternoons for approx 16 selected
students a term.
•Jump Jam – fitness programme in the mornings
•Sporting opportunities: Field days and Teams
•Assemblies – Senior school: Term 1: Week 2, 4 and
7 in the hall at 9am.
•School Council – two members from each class are
selected to represent their class. These students are
chosen based on their ability to lead, speak
confidently to large groups and be an outstanding
role model.

•Be an outstanding role model
•Wear the correct uniform, wear it with pride and
ensure it is labelled.
•Wear their school hat: to, from and at school
•Always wear a helmet when riding a bike
•Be prepared in the mornings
•Persevere and always give it their best
•Take responsibility for their own actions
•Always carry out their assigned job roles and with a
smile
•We are a Green/Gold Enviro school, therefore the 3
R’s are extremely important! Reduce, Re-use, Recycle.

Terms 1 and 4
•Classes rotated through
•Parent help vital to classes attending, 1:4 ratio
•At a cost of only $35
•Skills include sailing an optimist, learning about
wind/tides/weather, knot tying and kayaking.
•Life jackets to be worn at all times everywhere.
•Aqua socks or appropriate footwear for use in
water, must be worn.
•Brimmed sun hats must be worn at all times.

•Dragon Math - $12 purchased at the school office
•A-Z of Curiosity task to be completed each week in
homework book.
•Spelling – set list every week to be tested
•Reading – 20mins every night.
•Individual tasks set by the classroom teacher
