An axe will be us e d by the ‘sack man’, as
he used to be a lumberjack before he
died. It can be used to create screeching
sounds when combined with metallic
surfaces.
Knife
A knife will be wielded by joel during
the trailer and will be seen briefly,
surrounded by a pool of blood. This is a
typical weapon used in supernatural
horror films.
Generally, however, there will be a noticeable absence of props throughout the entirety of my
trailer. This is because i want to create an old-fashioned horror film that does not rely on gore or
violence to be effective, and in order to do this, minimalism is key when it comes to composition and
content of shots. The characters will attempt to drive back the evil forces at hand, but cannot even
be sure of their existence – the fight is not physical.
