Storage Accelerators and Routers
The exponential growth of data storage needs paired with a demand for high-performance,
creates problems for IT departments that cannot afford to allocate substantial amounts of their
budget and time to keep up. There are many Enterprise-level solutions available for companies
with large budgets and unlimited resources, but where does that leave the small and mid-sized
businesses grappling with storage headaches? We decided there had to be a better way.
By shifting the focus from a traditional storage vendor approach of selling more hardware to a
service approach of data management, we are able to more directly address the customer need
of meeting storage requirements at the lowest possible cost with as little disruption to daily
operations as possible.
Our Solutions, the facilitator of our Total Storage Management service. It is truly a unique
appliance that leverages customers’ existing storage and allows them to accelerate data access,
migrate data and expand into new storage without interruption (even to the Cloud), and saves
disk space. Our excellent features are as below.
1.Acceleration – Acceleration reduces latency and increases burst throughput and IOPS to
NAS storage by means of SSD write cache in our appliance. Acceleration is especially
beneficial for database and virtual machine performance.
2.Expansion – Expansion allows a managed file system to overflow to newly added storage
without service interruption or complicated configuration / migration steps. Even as a file
system overflows to the configured target storage, all files appear to fully reside in the
original file system; the managed file system simply appears to be larger.
3.Migration – Migration allows infrequently accessed data to automatically migrate under
control of user-defined migration policy to lower-cost, lower-performance storage, increasing
available capacity for more frequently accessed data; with automatic retrieval to higher-
performance media when appropriate.
4.Hybrid Cloud – Never run out of storage again! Cloud back-end leverages the migration
feature by enabling an unlimited amount of data to be stored to cloud – potentially endless
storage. As with all our migration, a file migrated to cloud appears to remain in its original
location, and migration to and retrieval from cloud (if the file is subsequently read) is
transparent to applications, aside from an increase in latency
