MAHA Global and IPR: Do Actions Speak Louder Than Words?
Media six sense
1. Firstly the movie starts off with a black background with light blue text fading in. Firstly the fact that its a black background already hints: evil/darkness which symbolises that something sinister is going or has happened. Also the blue text font could symbolise negative, sad and cold this hints that this movie has a negative genre such as thriller or horror. Furthermore the diagetic music is long and slow paced and also gives the audience cold uncomfortable sensation as if you could feel wind which also links back to the blue text font.
2. 6 Sense Secondly this next shot which is and extreme close up of a light bulb turning on slowly, this slowness goes well with the music and creates an eerie sensation for the audience, even though the light is on its dim and doesn't light much of the area, and as light symbolises hope the dimness shows that there's not much hope. Like the clip before the background is black therefore hint something thriller or sinister like is going to happen
3. Firstly this small section shows this female character looking for a bottle of alcohol as she looks up and down the camera tracks and pans up and down in level with her face. This is a mid shot, with the camera hiding behind the alcohol rack which gives of a sense that she should not be here and also gives of a ghostly sensation. Diagetic sounds are heard though this clip, such as breathing, walking and a slight sound of wind which adds to the eerie atmosphere that is created making both the audience and her uncomfortable The Mise-un-scene is dark, cold and scary, also the fact that its in a cellar already makes the audiences feel negative sensations because stereotypically in many films cellars are scary and sinister things lurk down them. Furthermore there isn't there are not many props how ever because of the alcohol rack and a few other props shadows are cast making the location even scarier.
