2. Here you can see we used a girl in the video with the boy so it makes it clear
that he has something going on with the girl. It also shows that the artist is a
bit of a ladies man as he is clearly talking and being all over the girl. The miseen-scene also shows that the girl is also wearing little clothing showing that
she is almost feminized by the video, he is also wearing very fashionable
clothing meaning that he’s probably quite a hit with the ladies. The
background also shows that they are in a natural environment so they
obviously have met up to spend time together so it means they must have
some sort of connection. This is also a shot from right near the beginning so
straight away we used a long shot so that you can see the establishing shot so
you see that these two are clearly going to be the main part of the video.

3. Here you can see that we used ballet in our video. We used this as there is a link to
the ballet from the couple arguing as with the ballet the dancer is trying and failing
and then she finally gets it, then with the couple it is opposite the couple try but they
just keep fighting and then in the end they both end up breaking up and walking away
from each other. They lighting in this shot highlights the ballerina’s feet so you can
see the main focus point is the feet as they are on time to the beat. Also the mise-enscene is the typical ballerina shoes with the typical pink tights meaning that you can
clearly see she is a dancer and not think that she's not a professional. We also used a
dark background and turned all the lights off so when we put the spotlight torch on
her feet they stood out more and shadowed onto the floor so you could almost
double see the feet to add more effect.

4. Here you can see in our digipack we used photos of our main artist and they are close ups
of his face so you totally focus on him. We also used photos of him and the girl in the
video so it shows he’s portrayed as more of a ladies man, this also makes him more
appealing to women. We also put yellow lighting on him because its more of a warm
lighting so it makes him look more lovable rather than using a white light which would
make him look more cold. We also had him looking sad, angry and emotional in the
photos so people find him cute if they don’t see him in a attractive way as his face is what
is selling the album.

5. Here you can see we used a plain background behind our artist so that the
whole focus was on nothing but the artist. For the mise-en-scene we also
dressed the artist in just a plain white t-shirt so you do focus on what he is
wearing. Also to keep the focus on the artist we turned all the lights off so it
was pitch black and then shone the artificial torch on the artists face so it
made the artists face light up more and him have to full focus on him. We
also had him singing into the camera looking emotional so it looks like he is
upset about the girl so you can tell that he is clearly getting emotional about
the girl so it still has the same feel that the whole video does as its about the
couple fighting.

6. Here you can see that the artist is standing on a wall so that he is higher so its like he
has power and is more in charge even though it’s not true when it comes to there
relationship as the girl is the one clearly ending it with the artist. It’s also a long shot so
that you can see he is higher up. We also had him stand up there as you can see the sky
behind him so it adds more interest to the shot. Also by putting him higher up it makes
the audience look like he is looking down on them so the audience feel like he is almost
dominating them and drawing your attention towards him.

7. For the magazine advert we took a close up picture of the artists face so the full
concentration was on him which makes him look more appealing to girls. We also turned
the lights off around him and put a spot light just on his face so you fully concentrate on
him and it fits with the theme running through the music video and the digipack. For the
mise-en-scene we put him in a plain white t-shirt so that the attention doesn’t get taken off
his face. We also put the grid behind the artist so that it looks like he is almost isolated
because there's so much room behind him and he is alone which fits with the video as she
is leaving him.

8. This scene shows the couple arguing which makes you feel sorry for the artist as he is
clearly in a bad place. It also shows that he is telling her to go away which makes him
look more powerful and like he was the one that ended it. We chose to have natural
lighting here so it looked more of a natural argument instead in front of a plain
background as it would look almost staged. For mise-en-scene we decided to put them
both in more interesting clothing so it looks more like they were meant to go out but
then they ended up arguing. We also chose to do a medium to long shot of the artists so
that you could see what was going on between them as they were both in the frame, you
could also see what's in the background so you can see that they are put in front of a
cracked, broken wall just like there relationships broken.

9. Here you can see we edited our video so that we had one clip of the girl and one
clip of the artist overlaying each other, we decided to do this as we thought it
made the artist look more like he was singing about the girl as he is pouring his
heart out in the song and then the girl looks almost like she is listening to him
getting upset. Also we have plain backgrounds behind the two of them so that the
focus was just on the two. We also had a dark environment and a spot light on
both of the artists so that they stood out more and you could see there faces more
when they were blended over each other. For the mise-en-scene we had them both
in plain clothing so nothing subtracted the attention from the couple.

10. Here we used the girl in the shot of just her looking upset. We chose to have her sitting on
the floor and having the camera looking down on her from a high angle so she looked
more weak as we had her upset looking like she was crying. Also is this shot we have the
model sitting in front of a white background so the focus is on just her and not the
background. We also had her dress in more casual clothing other than the outfit she was
wearing in the other argument scenes as she is more upset and looks like she’s in a more
natural like home environment as she would be more likely to be upset in her own home.
For the lighting we had the lights all turned off in the room and just had a spot light on
the girl which made you completely focus on her and not anywhere else.

11. In this screenshot you can see it is clearly an establishing long shot, it shows that the girl
in the background is walking away from the boy in foreground you can see that it shows
it is making the audience watching the video feel sorry for the artist as the girl he wants
is walking away from him, by making the audience feel sorry for him it makes them like
the artist more. The shot also shows that the relationship is over at the end of the video
which is unconventional for a music video as they normally have the couple get back
together at the end of the video but we decided to have the couple end as we thought it
would make the views obviously feel more sorry for the artist and get more emotionally
attached to him.
