Two men kidnap a girl walking alone and lock her in a damp, neglected cellar. The filmmakers chose this location because it resembles the settings in thrillers they analyzed. They decided to include a female victim kidnapped by men, drawing from The Silence of the Lambs, even though kidnapping was not present in the films they studied, to make their storyline easier to film.

3. Location
 We will be filming in Crick and in Maisie’s
house, specifically the cellar. We chose this location
because it has some of the features reminiscent of the
locations used in the films we deconstructed; the cellar has
damp stone floors and the walls are unkempt and look
neglected, we thought that this would be a good setting for
a thriller movie.

4. Themes
 Female victim – we got the idea to introduce a female victim into our
film from ‘The Silence of The Lambs’ which Maisie deconstructed. It
involves a serial killer whose victims are all women.
 Kidnap – There are no kidnappings in any of the films either of us has
deconstructed, but we made an informed decision to include in in our
film as it is a more feasible story line to film than scenarios that happen
in the films we deconstructed.
