The ZL Vórtice Project aims to map the landscape, infrastructure, social and cultural dynamics of the densely populated Zona Leste region of São Paulo, Brazil. Through urban mapping, workshops, and "worksites", the project will document the area's transformations, productions, and communities. It will create a publicly accessible database and mobile app to disseminate information about the region and enable greater civic participation in policymaking. The project is supported by various public agencies and universities and partners with local networks.
